Jim Herrmann

Jim works with HGGC’s Business Development team to source platform and add-on acquisitions.

Prior to working with HGGC, Jim spent the majority of his career in the consumer goods industry with ICON Health & Fitness, which was a Bain Capital portfolio company acquired in 1994. He most recently served in a business development role in which he led the sourcing, execution, and integration of a footwear company, including post-acquisition leadership of business expansion and key profit and loss metrics. He also spent over 10 years as Director of Licensing for ICON, where he helped develop multi-million-dollar business lines. Jim began his career as a professional football player after being selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1985 NFL draft.

Jim received his J.D. from J. Reuben Clark Law School and his B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Brigham Young University.
